With over a decade's experience in UK independent film and TV, across both development and production, I bring a considered and empathetic approach to story craft, alongside a practical knowledge of the impact of dramaturgical choices on your production.

I work across feature film and television — at any stage of development, from treatment to final polish. My approach combines analytical rigour with emotional depth; I'm just as interested in what you have to say, and why the project is meaningful to you, as I am in how it is being expressed on the page.
A detailed written response to your script — premise, structure, character, dialogue, voice, and commercial context. Candid, curious, and specific. Useful whether you're developing independently or preparing to submit to producers or funding bodies.
Sustained engagement as you work on a draft. I read each version carefully and give notes that build on what we've already discussed — tracking progress, identifying what's working, and helping you find your own solutions to what isn't yet.
A more open-ended approach across multiple drafts or projects. We can work together to build a portfolio of work that feels like it represents you and your voice in the best possible way. Drawing on my production-facing background, I can offer perspective on how your work might be packaged and positioned in the marketplace.
A useful starting point when you need a thinking partner rather than just a set of notes — someone to test ideas against, who can ask the right questions to get to the heart of the premise.
Background
I work in UK independent film and TV — across development, production, and the financing structures that surround them. I understand the commercial pressures that shape what gets made, and I hold that understanding in mind when working editorially.
I have a Script Development Diploma from the NFTS, and a keen interest in psychotherapy and psychoanalysis, which affects how I listen both to you and to your characters.

Every project is different, so I work on a flexible, per-project basis rather than fixed rates — pricing depends on length, genre, and turnaround. Below is a general sense of how collaborations tend to work. Get in touch with details of your project and I'll come back with a quote.
